Paula Kreissler of Wound Care Clinic – ESU, Inc. will be attending the National Leadership Council Meeting for the American Diabetes Association.  Kreissler is the Leadership Chair for the Savannah Chapter of the ADA.  The meeting is scheduled for June 6th and 7th in San Francisco, California.
The meeting marks the ADA’s 68th Scientific Sessions.  It will begin with an opening reception on Friday, June 6th followed by the National Leadership Council Networking Reception.

A major portion of the weekend events will focus on advocacy and Dr. John Anderson, Chair of the ADA Advocacy Committee, will lead those discussions.  There will also be an interactive exercise on how to best utilize advocacy to convey the ADA’s mission while advancing the strategic and fund-raising objectives for 2008 and beyond.
 
The weekend of events will wrap up with a free visit to the Scientific Sessions Exhibit Hall, which will have the world’s largest exposition of diabetes-related products.
