The Landings Club is proud to host the USTA National Men’s 40 Clay Court Championships for the 20th consecutive year. This prestigious event will be held from September 26 – October 2, 2008 at the Franklin Creek Tennis Center on Skidaway Island. Admission is free. The USTA National Men’s 40 Clay Court Championship is open to the public, and not only provides great tennis, but also has an exciting array of social events for the players and community alike. As one of the nation’s premier tennis tournaments, nationally ranked players, and international champions from around the country will travel to Savannah to participate in the tournament. In addition to the main event, there will be a Pro-AM tournament open to the public, held from 3-5 PM on Saturday, September 27th. All proceeds from the Pro-Am will be donated to the Humane Society of Savannah/Chatham. The $100.00 tax deductible entrance fee includes a 50% discount for one ticket to Casino Night. Refreshments will be available at a cash bar from 3-6PM. Casino Night is from 6:30 to 11:00 PM on Sunday, September 28th. The $30.00 admission fee includes buffet dinner, casino games and a cash bar. Casino Night is a great opportunity for an evening of fun playing casino games and mingling with the tournament participants.
