Savannah Hardscapes To Participate in Beaufort County’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”
(HARDEEVILLE, SC) Savannah Hardscapes is pleased to announce its participation in an upcoming edition of the popular ABC television reality show, “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” which will focus its efforts on a Beaufort family in need. Production will begin January 11th.
“It’s an exciting and rewarding program to be a part of,” says William Rhangos, who co-owns Savannah Hardscapes with his brother, Jonathan.
Savannah Hardscapes is the largest provider of stone, brick, pavers, interior tile and design elements in the Southeast and will donate red reclaimed bricks and unique coral stone, as well as a six-foot arbor and bench from Walpole Woodworkers. The donated items are representative of the many globally sourced, sustainable, hand-crafted products for which the company is well-known.
Initially approached by H2 Builders, Inc.’s CEO Todd Hawk, who is overseeing the “Extreme Makeover” project, the Rhangos brothers jumped at the chance to help. They previously donated labor and materials to the “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” in Savannah and saw first hand how transformative the experience can be for a family.
“This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of another deserving family,” notes Rhangos. “It brings our community together in a very unique way and allows us to live our values as a company.”
In its eighth season, “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” features weekly renovations of homes for families who face hard times, yet continue to inspire others through their altruistic efforts or community leadership.
