Sam Cook with Seimitsu Business Technology Solutions in Savannah won the 2008 Melaver Inc. Service Award at the annual corporate retreat held at Enterprise Mill in Augusta on April 25.

Nominations for Core Value Awards are made by Melaver employees who can choose to nominate a fellow colleague or an outside vendor. To qualify for the service award, the nominee must meet the philosophy and work ethic of the following guideline: “We believe service is an extension of self, is fostered through teamwork, and is the foundation upon which lasting relationships are built.”

“I am deeply honored to be one of the few outside vendors to receive such a prestigious award from Melaver,” said Sam Cook. “You know you are doing something right and your clients are happy with you when you receive an award like this for Service.”

Other award winners include Melaver Inc. employees Camille Pope for Ethical Behavior, Denis Blackburne for Profitability, and Julie Manley for Learning.
