Savannah Sand Gnats’ “Pack the Park” Game to Benefit Park Place Outreach – Youth Emergency Shelter

(SAVANNAH, GA) The Savannah Sand Gnats announces the fourth annual “Pack the Park” game, benefiting Park Place Outreach – Youth Emergency Shelter, will be Tuesday, April 29 at Grayson Stadium. The baseball game will start at 7:05 p.m., with Jack Levine, President of Park Place Outreach, throwing the first pitch.

Tickets will be $8, and are available at www.sandgnats.com  with the promotional code “PARKPLACE”.

Thanks to the support of The Savannah Bank and the Savannah Sand Gnats, “This will be our fourth year packing the ball park”,” said Linda Hilts, Executive Director of Park Place Outreach. “This event has been a great success in the past, and we are hoping this year we will raise the much-need funds for the shelter.”

It takes $144 to provide one day of residential services for a youth at Park Place Outreach. The proceeds from the “Pack the Park” game will go towards 365 days of services to children ages 11 to 17 who are residents of the shelter.

The “Pack the Park” for Park Place Outreach – Youth Emergency Shelter event is made possible through the partnership of The Savannah Bank, WSAV, and the Savannah Sand Gnats.
