(SAVANNAH, GA) Matilda Jane Clothing has selected Savannah as the backdrop for its spring marketing campaign. The campaign will get underway with a photo shoot in Savannah December 9-11.
“Savannah will be featured prominently in our entire spring marketing campaign, including print, social media and web promotions,” said Allison Flatjord, chief marketing officer for the children’s apparel line. “We will be shooting in several areas around the city, including the Historic District. Savannah was our top choice because of her natural beauty and history, as well as her temperate climate, but also because she has a vibrant fashion scene.”
Matilda Jane Clothing started as a kitchen table business before being launched as a national children’s clothing line in 2006 by founder Denise DeMarchis. Sales are made directly though Trunk Keepers, independent representatives who get to know their customers personally. Robyn Shirley, who has been an independent Trunk Keeper in South Carolina since 2008, recently expanded her business to the Savannah area. Shirley now serves Matilda Jane Clothing as a Team Leader and Trunk Keeper.
“I am thrilled that Matilda Jane Clothing has chosen Savannah for the spring collection photo shoot,” said Shirley. “It’s such a good fit – this charming clothing line for little girls set against the canvas of such a lovely city.”
Matilda Jane Clothing is available in girls and adult sizes with designs that are youthful, playful and expressive. The brand’s whimsical approach to texture, pattern and color results in designs that capture the spirit and imagination of childhood.
