On Wednesday, May 27 the Hearts and Hands Clinic Inc.: A VIM Alliance Clinic will be hosting a town hall style meeting to discuss the progress and goals of the clinic. All community members, local business owners, and anyone else who would like to hear about how the clinic will impact the community are encouraged to attend.
The meeting will be held at 6pm in Georgia Southern’s College of Education auditorium. The auditorium is located on the first floor of the college. The College of Education is located off of Forest Drive, and parking can be found directly adjacent to the building.
Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) is a non-profit organization that manages numerous free clinics all over the United States. VIM has also facilitated the opening of the Hearts and Hands Clinic, and will be on hand to answer questions in addition to the staff and Student Advisory Board.

The Hearts and Hands Clinic Inc.: A VIM Free Clinic extends its gratitude for the newfound support of East Georgia Regional Medical Center. The medical center will be ensuring that the clinic is stocked with basic supplies upon the opening date of August 22, 2009. Because of their efforts, there will be no question that the clinic will be able to meet the anticipated demand and number of patients on opening day.
