(SAVANNAH, Ga.) April is National Financial Literacy month. Center Parc Credit Union has a podcast aimed at high school students with the goal of giving young people the financial know-how they need to thrive as adults.
(SAVANNAH, Ga.) High school seniors are invited to apply for the 2022 Youth Member Development Scholarship Award being presented by Center Parc Credit Union. The financial organization will present two $1,000 scholarships to students who are entering college or vocational school this year.
(SAVANNAH, Ga.) – Fifteen elementary students who are budding gardeners and cooks were selected to be published in a new cookbook that is being produced by Center Parc Credit Union and the Savannah Urban Garden Alliance (SUGA), in partnership with four Savannah elementary schools. The cookbook documents the students’ vegetable garden experience at the participating schools.

(SAVANNAH, GA) Center Parc Credit Union and the Savannah Urban Garden Alliance (SUGA) have partnered with six Savannah elementary schools to create a recipe cookbook documenting the students’ first vegetable garden.
The project kicks off on Wednesday, Oct. 20 at noon at Butler Elementary School, 1909 Cynthia St., with an announcement from the participating schools, SUGA, and Center Parc discussing the process of putting the cookbook together.

Developed as a means for students who face food insecurities to be able to grow healthy foods affordably, the garden provides hands-on learning experiences and serves as a gathering place for faculty, staff and students to demonstrate a green economy.
