Brett Giesick Named Chief Operating Officer of Savannah-Based Colonial Group Inc.

(SAVANNAH, Ga.) Colonial Group Inc. has announced that Brett Giesick has been named chief operating officer for the Savannah-based group of companies. Giesick has served as president of Colonial Group’s retail division, Enmarket, since 2017. He is the first person to serve in the role of COO for Colonial.

Enmarket storefront at the JA Colonial Group Discovery Center cuts ribbon

(SAVANNAH, Ga.) As Savannah’s largest convenience store chain and one that continues to grow, ribbon-cuttings are not that unusual for Enmarket. But earlier this month, the store observed a ribbon-cutting unlike any other in its history. The facility the ceremony opened was not a regular store, but instead was a storefront inside the Junior Achievement Colonial Group Discovery Center at the Armstrong campus of Georgia Southern University.

A Powerful Partnership: Enmarket and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Fight Blood Cancer Together

(SAVANNAH, GA) For the 9th year, locally owned Enmarket continued its partnership with the Georgia – South Carolina Region of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Light The Night® campaign. Enmarket launched its company-wide initiative in September across Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina by encouraging its customers to donate at check-out to benefit LLS. The 2021 campaign in September raised over $125,000 to help in the fight against blood cancers. Brett Giesick, President of Enmarket, and Matt Clements, Vice President of Marketing, presented local LLS staff with a check on October 27.

Feed a Trucker Campaign kicks off May 7

(SAVANNAH, GA) The Savannah-based trucking firm Veteran Carriers has teamed up with Enmarket to salute one group of unsung heroes of the pandemic – the trucking community – with a series of free lunches throughout 2021.

The Feed a Trucker program will involve participating groups gathering at the Enmarket on Pine Barren Road and Highway 80 – one of the convenience store chain’s commercial trucking locations, serving big rigs going in and out of the Georgia Ports Authority – on the first Friday of the month for the rest of the year.
