(SAVANNAH, GA) Enmark Stations, Inc. is pleased to announce that Tom Kelly has joined the company as director of operations following the retirement of longtime director of operations Jerry Morris. In his new role, Kelly will oversee the company’s day-to-day field operations including food service and maintenance functions.
Kelly comes to Enmark from Murphy USA in El Dorado, Ark., where he served as division manager. He previously served as director of operations at Breadbox Food Stores and as senior operations/training and simplification manager at Pilot Travel Centers, LLC, both in Knoxville, Tenn.
Kelly received a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Tennessee. He holds certifications in several areas, including Train the Trainer, Business Ethics and Infrastructure Training. Kelly was a member of Murphy USA’s Circle of Stars in 2010 and 2012 and was Safety Coordinator of the Year at Pilot Travel Centers in 1998.
“I’m excited to be working with quality people at a quality company like Enmark,” said Kelly, who relocated from Arkansas with his wife and four daughters.
Morris retires from Enmark after spending more than 18 years with the company as director of operations and marketing. During his distinguished career with Enmark, Morris was largely responsible for the conversion of Enmark kiosks to full-size convenience stores and oversaw the design of the stores.
“We can’t thank Jerry enough for his time and dedication to Enmark. He helped mold the company into what it is today. There isn’t a facet of the company that Jerry hasn’t helped improve, whether it be store design, marketing, operations, maintenance … the list goes on,” said Enmark Vice President Houstoun Demere. “Not only does he have the utmost respect of the company but also of his peers throughout the industry. He is a first-class individual and one Enmark is proud to have in our family. He leaves big shoes to fill and will surely be missed.”
