   that Augusta’s sales tax collections for July 2012 were ahead of
   last year’s collections and ahead of budgeted revenue
   projections. “Along with the continued investment in the
   downtown area and new industries coming to our city, this is
   definitely a good sign of the strength of our local economy,”
   commented Mayor Copenhaver.
