(AUGUSTA, GA) Executives from former Atlanta mayor Shirley Franklin’s
   Purpose Built Communities program will tour Laney Walker/Bethlehem in
   early September. The visit follows a recent, successful meeting in
   Atlanta between Purpose Built officials and Augusta leaders Mayor Deke
   Copenhaver, City Administrator Fred Russell, and Housing Director
   Chester Wheeler.

   that Augusta’s sales tax collections for July 2012 were ahead of
   last year’s collections and ahead of budgeted revenue

   definitely a good sign of the strength of our local economy,”
   commented Mayor Copenhaver.

   program (pronounced “Ya’ll!”), designed to provide
   exceptional service to local young adults (aged 11 to 17 years old)
   through the delivery of quality educational and recreational library
   media and programming. Submittals for logo and slogan ideas from young
   adults, entailing a freehand or digital logo and/or a one-sentence
   slogan that best represents the mission and spirit of YA@AL are due by
   September 30.

   Urban Planning and Management, headlined the 2012 UNCA Neighborhood
