(AUGUSTA, GA) Jake Oglesby, Executive Director of the Augusta Housing Authority, announced this week its intent on acquiring the Immaculate Conception property along Laney Walker Boulevard and developing an affordable senior housing project on the site. Oglesby assurred residents at a quarterly community meeting at Beulah Grove Baptist Church Tuesday night that this new development would fit in with the guidelines already in place for the Laney Walker/Bethlehem Revitalization effort.
