(Augusta, GA) – Tenor saxophonist and Richmond County educator, Tim Sanders, and his band Unity will perform Saturday, November 2nd in the final concert of the Jazz on Pine celebration of local music. The concert takes place at 6:00 pm in the Heritage Pine Pocket Park on Pine Street between Laney Walker Boulevard and Florence Street. Jazz on Pine, planned and orchestrated by highly-regarded jazz keyboardist Karen Gordon, is the inaugural public cultural event for the neighborhood’s newly-christened park and is anticipated to become an annual jazz concert series.
