NATASHA NEEDS A HOME

(COASTAL PET RESCUE) Meet Natasha, or Potato as her foster mother has become fond of calling her. Originally, this girl was afraid of not only her shadow but also the outside. She has progressed leaps and bounds and is ready to join your family! Natasha walks perfectly on a leash, even if it is a little slow.

Food is a big motivator for her and she will do almost anything for a treat or some yummies. At home she loves to snuggle on the couch and uses a little ramp to get up and down on her own. Natasha isn’t looking for a fast paced home or life style and would prefer a quiet abode where she can nap or just be by your side and soak up all the love she can. This senior girl doesn’t let any of that stop her from living life to her fullest! With a big smile and even bigger personality, she can’t wait for you to meet her!

CHATHAM ACADEMY TEACHER BRITTANY DINO TO RUN IN NYC MARATHON

(SAVANNAH, GA) Chatham Academy got a lot more than just a teacher when it brought Brittany Dino on board this year. This powerhouse and go-getter will be running in the New York City Marathon on November 6. As one of the top world marathons, it is an accomplishment just to be able to participate. Dino “time qualified,” which means having a qualifying run time of 1 hour, 29 minutes or less. That equates to an eight-minute mile for 26 miles. What makes this even more incredible is she did it knowing she would need to have brain surgery. Thinking it might be one of her last races, Dino went all out and time qualified on the second to last run.
