Jeff’s Beverage Hired The Dewitt Tilton Group to Build New 12,304-Square-Foot Facility
Groundbreaking Ceremony on New Project in Richmond Hill Held Dec. 19
(RICHMOND HILL, GA) Jeff’s Beverage is building a new 12,304-square-foot store for the Richmond Hill area. The groundbreaking ceremony was held Tuesday, Dec. 19, at 11 a.m. at 3945 Hwy 17 in Richmond Hill.
Jeff’s Beverage will occupy 8,104 sq.ft. of the new building with the remaining 4,200 sq.ft. of space available for lease. “This building is directly located on Highway 17 in very close proximity to Interstate 95 with excellent road frontage, visibility, high traffic counts and is easily accessible from the highway,” said Kathy Nielsen, who owns the store with her son, Jeff. “The building has been designed for a multitude of occupants and we are looking for the perfect business to attract local residents as well as those traveling north and south on I-95.”
Jeff’s Beverage will have an open floor plan with a humidor, custom coolers and storage along with office space, restrooms and a private second story conference room. The space available for leasing will remain unfinished for a future tenant.
“With this new facility, we are expecting to bring new inventory, new jobs and economic growth to one of the Southeast’s largest wine, beer and spirits stores,” continued Nielsen.
The company’s co-owner and founder, Jeff began working in the alcohol industry while in college before deciding he wanted to “start his own.” With the help of his parents, his business idea became reality. “We are still growing and going strong after 17 years now,” said Nielsen, “We believe a big contributing factor to our success is how involved Jeff and I are in the day-to-day operations, as well as the support we’ve received from the great community of Richmond Hill and surrounding areas.”
The Dewitt Tilton Group of Savannah will begin construction immediately, and the project is scheduled to be completed in July 2018.
