Jack Star speaks about "The Coming Energy Revolution" on January 8th at Magolia Manor’s Renaissance Lecture Series
 
Jack Star will be the guest speaker for the next installment of the Rennaisance Lecture Series, a monthly event hosted by Magnolia Manor on the Coast.  The presentation, titled "The Coming Energy Revolution" will inform the audience about the importance of energy conservation, the role of distributed energy generation, the sources of free fuels and much more.
 
Since 2005, Star has been an advocate for solar energy and sustainable distributed energy in the Low Country.  He manages several websites and blogs and edits the "Green Pages" for SavannahBest.com
 
Star and his wife, Cima, love to travel and have lived in Los Angeles, Rome, Milan, New York City, the Boston area, Miami Beach and, since 1995, Savannah.
 
Each month, Magnolia Manor hosts the Renaissance Lecture Series at its Richmond Hill campus. The event begins at 5:30 and includes a light supper. After the guest concludes his/her speech, a question and answer session follows. The event is free and open to the public, but guests are asked to RSVP by calling Julie Gartside at (912) 756-4300
