Robert Donlon Named Vice President of Finance for Savannah Chapter of SCORE

The Savannah chapter of SCORE announces a new Vice President of Finance. 

(SAVANNAH, GA) The Savannah chapter of SCORE is pleased to announce that Robert Donlon will serve as the new Vice President of Finance. Donlon will serve alongside SCORE President Marjorie Young, Executive Vice President Gary Johnson, Vice President Al Torpie and Secretary Noah Yaugh.

Donlon is president of The Bookkeeper of Savannah, LLC, a company that helps small businesses by keeping their monthly financials in order. Donlon is a member of the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, the Savannah Small Business Chamber, the Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers, BNI and the Medbank Foundation.

SCORE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the small business community through free mentoring and business counseling. SCORE members volunteer their time and business expertise to help coach the next generation of entrepreneurs. There are 13,000 mentors available on the national SCORE website. Business owners can contact mentors who are in their trade or field of business by email to address specific questions. Out of the 13,000 mentors, approximately 80 percent are retired and 20 percent of the mentors are active business owners.
