MURAL
(SAVANNAH, GA) Mural for Isle of Hope School Nearing Completion – A large stoneware clay tile mural with crabs, turtles, shrimp, raccoons, herons, fiddlers, a woodpecker, an alligator, wood storks, frogs and more is nearly ready. The center spread was created by Joy Davis, Polly Cooper and Magen Pieglebeck, the school’s art teacher, and 70 students in the school have made the tiles flanking each end. The mural will be surrounded with tabby, and this project needs sharks teeth and fossils to be imbedded in the tabby. If anyone has teeth or fossils to donate, they will be appreciated. The donor will be recognized in a plaque next to the mural. This is a 4′ X 12′ mural to be installed near the office of the school. Please call Polly Cooper – 308-0063.
