(SAVANNAH, GA) Rincon Fire Chief Corey Rahn and Firefighter Mike Whittle presented Hospice Savannah with a check for $1,500 to be used for their overnight children’s grief camp, Camp Aloha, held each May at New Ebenezer Retreat Center in Effingham County. The money was raised during the Rincon Fire Department’s spring “boot drive.” Chief Rahn said that he and several of the firefighter have had personal experience with Hospice Savannah’s services and wanted to support the camp that was held in their own community. Full Circle bereavement counselor Barbara Moss presented the Chief with a framed T-shirt signed by this year’s campers to thank the Department for their very generous contribution.
