STAGE FRONT Presentation Systems has been serving the Savannah community proudly for 30 years. In celebration of their sustainability, they have made a $2,500 donation to the Savannah Tree Foundation and will plant a 25’ oak tree in front of their building on Sept. 23.

Stage Front has grown significantly since for opening its doors in 1978.  Current owner and Savannah native Steve Stephens and then business partner Chris Fredeman, narrowed their focus on theatrical and effects lighting for theatre, bands and nightclubs.  Stephens bought Fredeman’s stock in 1979, and his brother, Scott Stephens joined as partner in 1980.

By 1990, Stage Front Lighting had 18 full time employees, and adopted the d/b/a of Stage Front Presentation Systems (Stage Front) reflecting the change in its core business of providing technology for presentation and performance facilities, including conference rooms, lecture halls, theaters, churches and courtrooms.

Now, with 60+ employees, Stage Front Presentation Systems has a new office in Atlanta and will soon open another location in Charleston.  Stephens says through the years, the company has always stuck to its original philosophy: to stay committed to its customers and community.

Stephens says he attributes his success to both his clients and his employees.

“Our growth has been slow, but steady, and is driven by response to our clients’ needs and providing opportunities for the great people we have working at Stage Front,” he explained.

Stage Front Presentation Systems is located at 6 Southern Oaks Drive in Savannah.  For more information, call (912) 236-1345 or log on to www.sfps.net.
