(SAVANNAH, GA) Wound Care Clinic – ESU Inc. has been named the New and Emerging Small Business of the Year by the Small Business Chamber of Savannah. Paula Kreissler, Wound Care's President, received the award Thursday afternoon at the SBC's Annual Awards Luncheon.
"What an amazing feeling to get this award," Kreissler says.
"Savannah has so many top notch small businesses, so to get this recognition is nothing short of a huge honor."
Businesses were judged based on a strict set of criteria, including growth history, customer service, utilization of technology, and community service.
"Wound Care provides a great service to the area, but we wouldn't have gotten nearly this far had it not been for our wonderful staff." Kreissler continues, "I'm thrilled to have gotten this award, but I'm even happier for my staff."
Other awards handed out at the luncheon included the SBC Speaker of the Year, Small Business Champion of the Year and Small Business of the Year. The event was held at the Savannah Marriott Riverfront Hotel.
